If you want your towel to be changed, please leave them in the shower/bath; otherwise, the chambermaid will understand that you are going to use them again.
Please do not take the towel to the swimming pool or the beach. Likewise, for aesthetic reasons, please hang your beach towels on the clothes line in the terrace, not on the handrail.
