Turn off the lights when you leave the room.
Whenever possible, take advantage of the natural light. It will boost your levels of vitamin D and save electricity.
Take the stairs instead of the lift. You’ll get a workout almost without realising it.
If the heating or air conditioning is on, keep the terrace door closed.
Use our recycling corners. You’ll find them in the communal areas.
Reduce food waste to a minimum.
Preferably opt for products of recycled origin.
Select materials that are more environmentally friendly and have a longer lifespan.
Here at THB hotels we have eliminated single-use plastics: single dose gels, shampoos, oil and vinegar, etc… as part of our commitment to the environment and pursuant to the provisions of Balearic Islands Law 8/2019, of 19th February on contaminated land and waste.
So why don’t you do the same?
When you leave our facilities, avoid using plastic straws, supermarket bags, single use cutlery, etc.
Whenever possible, choose paper or glass packaging.

REUSE, REDUCE AND SORT WASTE IN THE COLOUR-CODED BINS. In order to reduce the amount of waste generated, avoid products with unnecessary packaging, or ask stores to use recyclable packaging.
DO NOT THROW PAPER, CIGARETTE BUTTS OR OTHER LITTER ON THE GROUND. The island’s residents have always been aware of the need to protect and keep our environment clean. Please respect our culture.
DO NOT PICK PLANTS AND FLOWERS. Ibiza boasts a wide variety of flora that is unique in the world. Please take care of it.
CHOOSE SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY. Travelling by public transport will reduce your carbon footprint. Plan your routes in advance and explore the island’s city and towns on foot or by bicycle.
ON THE BEACH, USE THE LITTER BINS PROVIDED OR ALTERNATIVELY TAKE YOUR WASTE HOME WITH YOU. The beaches are one of the island’s greatest attractions. Don’t allow litter to pile up on them.
CARE FOR THE SEA. Do not throw waste into the water. If you go diving, do not destroy the algae or catch living animals from the seabed. The sea is one of our treasures.
CHOOSE LOCAL CRAFTS WHEN SHOPPING. When shopping, visit the tourism office to find out which store specialise in local crafts.
VISIT THE ART, CULTURE AND TOURISM CENTRES. Towns founded by ancient civilisations such as the Phoenicians, Arabs or Romans, historic buildings listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, countless lighthouses dotted around the islands, museums offering a fascinating insight into the island’s history…these are just a few of the many options for discovering Ibiza’s wealth of historical heritage.
